As we continue to monitor the emergence of Coronavirus in Manitoba, we've made the decision to CLOSE the Brandon Youth Centre. City of Brandon Parks & Recreation Services has also made the decision to cancel the remaining two weeks of Lighthouse After-School Programming it runs at Valleyview, George Fitton, Green Acres, Kirkcaldy Heights, Betty Gibson, Meadows and Riverview School.

The City of Brandon Youth Centre offers a variety of structured and unstructured programming to youth ages 8-17. For more information about the Youth Centre and its programming CLICK HERE.




Brandon's Youth Activity Centres (YAC) is a FREE program where youth aged 9 to 15 (YAC East & YAC West) or for youth 7 to 9 years of age (YAC Junior) can go during the summer months. It is the ideal way for youth to spend their summer hanging out with friends and creating new friendships while playing great games and taking part in fun activities. The City of Brandon, in conjunction with the Department of Justice, have partnered once again and will be offering the Lighthouses After School program in the fall. This program provides city youth a positive environment to get involved in pro-social, recreational, and crime prevention activities after school. For more information CLICK HERE.
