The City of Brandon, in conjunction with the Department of Justice, have partnered once again and will be offering the Lighthouses After School program in the fall. This program provides city youth a positive environment to get involved in pro-social, recreational, and crime prevention activities after school.
Two Activity Leaders are hired for each site to provide supervision and quality instruction, and interact with the youth as role models. It is a program where one day a week, students are invited to stay after school and participate in physical activities in the gym while interacting with their peers.
The Lighthouses program runs after school hours once a week.
The Program takes place at the school each youth attends.
